Repeat Prescriptions

Good news!!

You can order your Repeat Prescriptions Online or by using an app on your smartphone with our new EMIS Patient Access system. It is very easy to use so please ask for a registration form the next time you visit the surgery.

Repeat prescriptions are available by handing in a repeat prescription request, by phoning us your request or by ordering online.

Please note - we can only accept telephone requests between 12noon and 4pm. 

Prescriptions will normally be available for collection within 2 working days.  (Order on Friday, prescription should be ready by 5pm on Tuesday)

You can have your prescription sent direct to a local pharmacy or you can collect it from the surgery during our opening times.

Please do not phone to check up on prescription if it is less than 48 hours since ordering.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, practice nurse or pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications.

You will be given an appointment to attend the surgery for a medication review. Please ensure that you attend the appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
